Morton Middle School 6th Grade Practice Day!

Please join us for our annual 6th Grade Practice Day at Morton Middle School! This special event is designed to help incoming 6th graders get to know their new school.

What to Expect:

• During Practice Day, students will:

• Receive their class schedule and have time to find their classrooms.

• Meet their teachers, principals, and counselors.

• Get an overview of "Morton Life" and what to expect on the first day of school.

• Have a chance to ask questions.

• Socialize with other 6th-grade students during a lunch social.

Who Can Attend:

• This event is for incoming 6th-grade students only. Please, no siblings or adults will be permitted at this time.

When and Where:

• Date: Monday, August 11th

• Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Front doors open at 8:45 AM)

• Location: Morton Middle School

• Please note: Transportation will not be provided.

Important Reminders:

• This event is not required. If your student is unable to attend, they will receive their schedule and other important information at a later date.

• Students should bring their own lunch, as school lunch will not be available.

Finally, Park Pop Ups are scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2025. This presents another chance to engage with the staff. You are welcome to ask questions in a more relaxed atmosphere and to become acquainted with a friendly face you will encounter on the first day.

• Landsdowne- Merrick - 5pm

• Ecton Park - 6pm

• Mt. Tabor - 7pm
